Durga Pujo outfit ideas 2019!
I hope you guys are enjoying this festive season . So talking about festival Durga pujo is around the corner and I’m already so elevated in my own excitement , couldn’t find any better way to explain. I do not belong to bengali family though I look like one sometimes . 🙂 I was so fascinated by their festival and makeup , I couldn't resist myself from searching more.
Later I learnt that it’s most celebrated festival among bengalis though we celebrate these days too but as navratri , gujratis do garba and many other states and religions might be having their own customs. So moving on to what I found was it’s a 6 day day fest starting from panchami and ends on what we call dussehra ( Dashmi ). Bengali community tends to wear new clothes all 6 days even twice a day as it’s their major festival. ( So banta hai 🙂 ) They basically contribute among them and arrange pandals for this 6 day long fest. Pandals are open for everyone you can also visit and enjoy their cultural programs . And on the last day ladies play holi with sindoor , offer sweets and hugs each other which signifies strong bond and selfless nature. #womenhood
Like I said I was so mesmerised by their festival and customs . I decided to recreate their outfits and wanted to experience their festive affair. 😉 So what I did was I curated few styles and trends and with that I got you guys 3 Durga pujo outfit ideas. I hope you guys find them useful and wearable.
So scroll down . 🙂
Classic one !
This look is inspired by their traditional outfit which they wear on dashmi too. I wore their traditional white and red border saree in their style with these Shakha (white bangles ) and Pola ( red bangles ) in both my hands as it’s really auspicious to them . And Ofcourse wearing gold and alta is utmost importance to them . I have put all my efforts to represent their culture and heritage.
Look Trendy this Pujo!
So for this I didn’t want to experiment much and at the same time I wanted to do some because that’s something I always do #experimentalfashion . So I kept the red colour intact and paired it with crop top , boots and baker boy hat. I decided to wear no jewellery and bold eyes . But you can always wear and still rock with this look on Durga Pooja and impress with your vibrance. ^_^

Let’s fuse a little!
Like the heading says I decided on fusing a little here and wanted loud eyes and some gold tones . So I tuned with my printed pants and crop top . Later added golden on my wedges , scarf and earrings. And yes, you are all set for pooja. This outfit can be worn by young girls too and when you decide to wear this one . I bet you’ll get more compliments on not looking your age. 😉

So these are all my outfits and I hope you find them handy and look forward to try out. I have also made a video on how to do makeup of durga pooja If you plan to recreate any of these. Don’t forget to tag me as I love seeing your pretty pictures . It keeps me motivated.
